BIOGRAPHY

Victoria Shirey Bowlin

Based out of Nashville, TN, Victoria Bowlin is a powerful singer, songwriter, author, and Faith-Inspired speaker, who gives encouragement and hope through music and personal testimonies. Originally from West Columbia, SC, Victoria's background includes extensive singing and traveling full time with her family, The Shireys and participating in tent revivals held by her late Grandmother, Evangelist Mamie L. Clark. She took the microphone at two years old. At eleven years old, Victoria took the place of her uncle in her family's group and began singing the third part full time. In May of 2006,  Victoria graduated with honors from Brookland-Cayce High School, one year  early, to pursue full time ministry with The Shireys. In January of 2015, God called Victoria into full time ministry with her husband, Aaron, which began her solo career. She has been awarded and nominated for several vocal and songwriting awards. In August 2016, Victoria had the privilege of being chosen to sing on Main Stage at Gatlinburg Gathering. Then, in September  2016, Victoria was honored to be chosen to sing on Main Stage at Southern Gospel's largest annual event, the National Quartet Convention, in front of 13,000 people. In August 2017, Victoria was chosen for the second year in a  row to sing on Main Stage at Gatlinburg Gathering. She writes and arranges most of her music. Her first five original songs were recorded at only fifteen years old. In July of 2016, Victoria landed her first original Top 80 Singing News charting song, "Still Faithful" at #71. Victoria also made her first appearance at Dollywood as a featured performer in October 2017 during Dollywood’s Annual Southern Gospel Harvest Festival. In December 2018, Victoria received her bachelor’s degree in Biblical Theology from New Vision Bible College & Seminary. From July 2020 to April 2021, Victoria and her husband, Aaron served as Youth Pastors at People’s Tabernacle Church in Savannah, TN. In May 2021, Victoria joined award winning, Southern Gospel trio, 11th Hour. Strong vocal abilities and harmonies are a God given talent that started in her at a young age. Her words have helped thousands across the nation, as she tells about what God has done for her. Through deliverance from a serious depression and multiple healings, God is using her testimony to reach countless people. In addition to her schedule with 11th Hour and select solo dates, Victoria is serving as the Worship Leader and her and her husband are currently serving as Youth Pastors at The Fire Place Fellowship in Hendersonville, TN.

               REFERENCES

"Victoria is truly one of the best female vocalists in Gospel Music, today. I would say that to anyone. But above any of her great talents, her heart for seeing people come to know Christ is honest and compassionate. I am very blessed to know her and honored that she calls me a friend!"

- Micah  Schweinsburg  (Daywind, 65/40 Records)

"I am always excited when I'm asked to write a reference or referral for a friend. Especially one that I've come to know better and better over the years

and believe with all my heart she lives what she portrays on stage. Her voice is among the best in Christian music, with an incredible personality to go with it. Victoria Bowlin is that person and my friend. Feel confident that when you are listening to her sing, talking to her face to face, or booking her for an event, that you are getting the real deal." - Eric Bennett (Triumphant Quartet)

“It’s been my extreme pleasure to become acquainted with Victoria Bowlin during the past 5 years. She graces the stage with not only wonderful music ability, but a unique presence of warmth and grace. While ministering an authentic, anointed message of Jesus Christ, her life is empowered by a tender anointing of the Holy Spirit. She has ministered at SC Church of God Camp Meetings to crowds of 3,000 and recently wrote, recorded and performed the 2016 theme song of the SC Women’s Conference, ‘You Have Overcome,’ with over 1,100 women in attendance. Victoria ministers the Word of God in a powerful, yet loving manner. By being obedient to the Holy Spirit and allowing God to touch the hearts of  His people, many lives have been changed through her ministry. She immediately gives God the glory for what He does in her services, and simply desires to be used of God.”

- Sis. Cathy Gillum (Former SC COG Women’s Discipleship Director)

“It has truly been a privilege to work with Victoria. Creating a project with such a gifted and talented singer and songwriter is a blessing to myself and to Chapel Valley, as a company. From studio to stage, she has truly become a polished professional with an attitude of excellence and a pursuit of perfection to the glory of God.” - Shane Roark (President - Chapel Valley)

"If you were to ask me who some of my favorite singers are, Victoria Bowlin would be on that list. I've known her and her family for years and have always been impressed with her respect for God, and her music. Her attention and focus in communicating the message in her music to her audience is so apparent. I highly recommend her for any church service, concert, venue or event! She is amazing!" - (late) Jeff Stice

"Victoria's dedication and passion to fine-tuning her ability to praise the Lord through her ministry and music is immediately obvious. Her attention to detail is present and evident in every aspect of her ministry from her writing to her spot-on performances. She gives 110%, and I count it an honor and privilege just to get to listen in as she sings and praises her Lord. The size of the audience in attendance is irrelevant to Victoria, because she is singing with all her heart to her audience of One, her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To me, that is a hallmark of true worship, for Jesus said "the true worshipers all worship the Father in spirit and in truth." John 4:23" - Pastor Craig Stephenson

"I am always blessed by Victoria's singing, and her heart for God shines through on every song! She is anointed!" - Bill Shivers (Brian Free & Assurance)
